The Beaglier are known for their affection, playful, good natured and loyal dogs. Cavoodles are also affectionate, playful and eager to please. Beaglier x Cavoodles
temperament combines the best traits from the Cavalier and the Poodle to create a smart, affectionate and playful dog. They thrive on the company of their family and other household pets.

 

Training Difficulty

Beaglier x Cavoodles are highly trainable, obedient and are very easy to teach.

 

Recommended Owners

Beaglier x Cavoodles are friendly towards children and are highly regarded as family pets. Their low shedding coat also makes them idea for people with allergies to dog hair.

 

Origin

The Beaglier is crossed between a Beagle and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the the Cavoodle is cross between a Poodle and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Both breeds became particularly popular through crossbreeding programs in Australia during the 1990s.

Diet

For adult Beaglier x Cavoodles, feed about a 1 cup, 1-1/2 cups of dry food a day, split between two meals.

Grooming

If an owner prefers a longer coat, then a weekly brushing may be required to keep the coat healthy and shiny. Without regular brushing, their hair can get knotted.

 

Comments

The Beaglier’s fur is short in length and silky smooth. Cavoodles fur have soft, Poodle-like coats which tend to shed a small amount since Poodles do not shed but Cavaliers do. Crossing the Beaglier with the cavoodle gives minimal shedding.

Beaglier x Cavoodle puppies come in a variety of colours, including, chestnut/white (Blenheim), gold, red, ruby and apricot. No Beaglier x Cavoodle puppy looks the same.
