10 – 14 years.
The Cavoodle temperament combines the best traits from the Cavalier and the Poodle to create a smart, affectionate, playful and eager to please. They thrive on the company of their family and other household pets.
Cavoodles are highly trainable, obedient and are very easy to teach.
Cavoodles are friendly towards children and are highly regarded as family pets. Their low shedding coat also makes them idea for people with allergies to dog hair.
The Cavoodle is cross between a Poodle and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The Cavoodle became especially popular through crossbreeding programs in Australia in the late 1990s.
For adult Cavoodles, feed about a cup of dry food a day, split between two meals.
Please note! The dietary guidelines specified above are only a guide and feeding may vary based on your pet’s size, activity level, and metabolism.
If an owner prefers a longer coat, then a weekly brushing may be required to keep the coat healthy and shiny. Without regular brushing, their hair can get knotted.
Cavoodles have soft, Poodle-like coats which tend to shed a small amount since Poodles do not shed but Cavaliers do. Cavoodle puppies come in a variety of colours, including black, white, chestnut/white, black/white/tan, gold, red, ruby and apricot. No Cavoodle puppy looks the same.
