Corgi’s grow to a height of 25 – 30cm, and a weight of  10 – 15kg




11 – 15 years.



Corgi’s are playful, good natured and loyal dogs. They are known for their strong personality and intelligence. They are very alert and enjoy being in a family environment.


Training Difficulty

Corgi’s are highly trainable, obedient and are very easy to teach.

Corgi’s are friendly towards children and are highly regarded as family pets.



The Pembroke Welsh Corgi were bred for herding cattle. They originated in Pembrokeshire, Wales.


For adult Corgi’s, feed about a 1 cup, 1-1/2 cups of dry food a day, split between two meals.

Corgi’s have a double coat, which may require a weekly brush to keep the coat healthy and shiny. Without regular brushing, their will be a lot of loose hairs. Corig’s do not need to be cut at the groomers.



The Corgis fur is short in length and very fluffy. With them having a double coat they shed continuously, with periods of heavier shedding at least twice a year. Corgi’s can have long tails and Bob short tails.

Corgi’s come in a variety of colours, including red, sable, fawn, brindle, black/brindle and black/tan/white. No Corgi  puppy looks the same.
